A Cozy Christmas Home

It's Christmas time! My favorite time of the year and not for the gifts but for all the wonderful smells, the songs, the food and time spent with family. This year I went all out for Christmas decor. I am fond of the traditional Christmas colors and so I stuck with that theme this year. I diy'd a few decorations, repurposed some pieces and mixed old with new. I did not buy one single thing regular price. I hold out until everything goes on sale and I was pretty amazed at what I was able to get being as most of the time you get the left overs if you wait to long. I just love the look of my Christmas home this year, it's so cozy and smells like Evergreens.

All my Christmas pillows are actually slipcover pillowcases from Hobby Lobby except for two. They were much cheaper than buying a $30 Christmas pillow.

Originally I wanted the tree in front of the window but it took up to much room and the rest of my "stuff" wouldn't fit properly. I spent hours and hours rearranging my furniture to fit the Christmas tree, this was the best option.

A few years back my mom picked up a bunch of vintage sleds. She gave me and my sister one and we spent a weekend sprucing them up for Christmas decor. I just love it!

I had some burlap that I cut for table runners.

The Santa picture I drew as a kid and my mom had it framed and put out every Christmas for years. I took out my original photos in my frames and replaced them with Christmas scrap paper. The large picture I had above my sofa I just wrapped like a present and put to and from on it with paint.
