Preppy Pink & Green Christmas Tree With Vintage Shiny-Brite Ornaments

Like, oh my God. This Christmas tree is totally tubular, fer shur. Seriously, it's like a total Betty of a Christmas tree. Those pink and green ornaments are so rad.
Why am I talking like a Valley Girl, straight out of the 1980s?
It might have something to do with the preppy pink-and-green Christmas tree in my dining room. I was a child of the 80s, and the color scheme took me back to my big hair, Valley-speak adolescence!
I've been collecting vintage Shiny-Brite ornaments, including some from my grandmother, and other pink and green decorations so I could give my white Christmas tree a vintage, preppy, girly look for the holidays.
I also tucked in glittery pink and green poinsettia blossoms and strung a beaded green garland through the branches. I used a scrap of moire plaid fabric as a makeshift tree skirt.

None of these ornaments are old, but they look it!






The pink bell is broken, but it's very special because it belonged to my grandmother. I had to find a place for it on my pink-and-green Christmas tree.






I used a scrap of pink-and-green moire plaid from a remnant roll as a makeshift tree skirt.
