Simple Wire Cone Trees

A piece of cardstock and craft wire are all you need to make these Christmas decorations. They work great all winter long too!

Supplies
20 gauge wire in a few finishes
Cardstock and tape or a premade paper mache cone
Roll a piece of cardstock into a cone and cut off the bottom so it stands.
Start wrapping the wire around the cone while holding it in place at the top.
Wrap the wire up and down the cone to give it strength, this thin of a wire will not stand up straight if you just do one single spiral.
The result is a modern Christmas tree! I have these in my living room next to my tree. I love decorating with metallics and these blend perfectly with my decor. I plan to leave them up after the holidays too.
