Tricycle Buffet

I got this piece...oh, idk like over a year ago. But it finally got the love it deserved. I found it on craigslist for $40. STEAL. It sat on our porch weathering pretty much every season, so it definitely had it's imperfections.
Here's the before:

I was redoing this piece for a friend, and she found a similar one she liked that used MMS Tricycle and Annie Sloan Dark Wax. Done and done.





I wanted to add some additional contrast by staining the top, so that was the first step. Then I taped it up and got it ready for the paint.





Once it was painted, I sealed it up with the dark wax and just love the dimension it gave it.
