Painted Board for Glass Top Dining Table.

So tired of glass top dining table. Had this piece of wood 4' x 4' left over from other project.

The deciding what to do is always the Hardest part!

Painted 2 coats of Annie Sloan chalk paint color, graphite. Sanded lightly between coats.

Beautiful stencil from Royal Design Studio called, "Springtime in Paris". Took quite a while as I stenciled in black first to catch any potential seepage then in color I wanted, Annie Sloan color, coco. When dry, lightly sanded and coat of Clear wax.

Much better! Maybe I'll luck up on some fabulous antique table legs someday and add an apron. It could happen, lol. , but very pleased with more character and room on table for now. Happy creating out there ! :)
