Make Santa Feel Welcome! Repurposed Books Coat Hooks #homeforchristmas

Everyone wants to come - even Santa, and this one-of-a-kind coat rack will give them a place to hang their things.
Keep old, unwanted books out of the landfills, and turn them into a coat rack even Santa would love!

To make your own, select an assortment of old books of various sizes. Try to find books that don't weigh too much.
If you find books with red covers, that will save you from having to paint the covers.





I spray painted all of the books that didn't have red covers.





Connect all the books together (see instructions in blog tutorial), then attach a coat hook to each book and add hangers on the back.





This coat rack can be totally customized to the colors in your home, or other holidays, so each one is different, and totally unique from anything you would find in a store!
The red and white theme I used will work for Valentines Day too!
