Ikea Nightstand Makeover

This nightstand has had two makeovers within a year and I think this one is going to be the last and final one since I am in LOVE with how it turned out.

This is how it looked way way before it got a double dose of makeover.





And then it went through its first phase of makeover which you guys can see on the blog but today I will focus on this little makeover.





So for this little makeover I went a different route and went with a color that I most likely would never use but I think this might be my new favorite color from now on. I went with the color Baroque by Velvet Finishes.
I gave the Nightstands two coats each.





I chose this beautiful stencil by Cutting Edge Stencils called African Kuba.For the front part of the Nightstand I painted over the stencil with Liquid Gold Gilding and lightly dabbed the paint onto the drawer with my stencil brush.





And there you have it!
